factor analysis of effective factor of health promoting hospital in selected hospital of isfahan

background: increasing of chronic patients who need permanent support andstaff who are daily exposed to psychological stress need to hospitals that note to health promotion programs. healthpromoting hospitals (hph)was expressed by the world health organization in the 1990s. so a large numberof hospitals in the world have implemented health promotion programs. but hospitalsin iran not implement health promotion programs. methods: this study was a descriptive - analytical survey in selectedhospitals of isfahan. after determining effective dimension and factors on healthpromotion was designed the questionnaire. the validity of questionnaire was computedby experts judgment and the reliability of its was computed by using cronbachalpha. afterwards, toconfirm the acquired factors were used confirming factor analysis (cfa). the adequacy of sample volume was made by using kaiser meyer olkin method. factor analysis (exploratory andconfirmatory) and structural equation approach has been done by spss and amos softwarefindings: finally, between dimensions of hph model patient empowerment (0/94), and organization healthpromotion (0/84) have the highest regression weight or effect and healthpromotion need assessment has lowest regression weight between the constituentcomponents of each dimension, staff empowerment (0/84), defining the safetyrequirements in the workplace (0/84) and community empowerment for disease control(0/88) have the highest effect.conclusion: to create a hph, various dimensions and factors is efficient. thehospital must have regard to patient, organization and staff health promotion.
